As the deadline approaches he's thw Wild find themselves seven points clear of the Flames with a home and home against Calgary beginning Saturday. Six of the next seven are o the road with the only home game in that stretch Monday vs. those Flames.
Tonight Marc-Andre Fleury gets the start in Vancouver and newly acquired Marcus Johansson slots in on the line with Joel Eriksson Ek and Matt Boldy.
Tomorrow's deadline still presents Bill Guerin the opportunity to move either Matt Dumba or Jordan Greenway with the latter more likely at this point. Now that Jacob Chycryn has finally been moved Dumba may once again be the target of those that lost out to Ottawa on that one.
The Wild are four points out of first place in the Central Division heading into tonight's tilt. No reason to believe that they cannot at the very least put some heat on the top teams with the West being wide open. The majority of the big acquisitions to this point have been to the top Eastern Conference teams so we will have to wait and see who looks to change the balance of power in the West.
