First period totals went over at a nice clip going 7-3 last night while games going over the total had a slight edge going 5-4-1. Favs were 6-4 and we finally had a winning night after a few day break! We only have a 5 game card tonight, analysis below. I will post goalie info in the afternoon and into the evening in the comment section.
TB/WSH - The Lightning has lost 2 in a row but had won 4 in a row prior to that, while the Caps are 2-4 in their last 6 games. The Caps have only played 2 games in the past 10 days and have Pitt on deck. TB has won both games head to head this year, 2-1 and 3-2. Lean to TB -135 as they need this win to not be stuck in the wildcard spot for the playoffs.
DET/WIN - The Wings snapped their 6 game losing streak last night over Boston while the Jets sat rested. The Jets won at Detroit 3-0 earlier this year and the Wings are going over the total at an alarming rate each night out. Winnipeg needs the win to cling to their faint playoff hopes. Lean to the over 6 and WIN PL. Winnipeg better not get caught looking ahead to COL on Friday night.
SEA/STL - The Blues have won 4 of their last 5 games and have gone over the total in 7 of their last 10 games. STL has won both meetings head to head this year, 2-1 and 5-0. STL has Minny on deck, but the Blues need the two points tonight, lean to STL -235.
VAN/VEG - Vegas has won 5 in a row while the Canucks have lost 4 of their last 5 games and are out pretty much out of playoff contention. The Knights have won both meetings head to head this year 3-2OT and 7-4. Give me the desperate home team in Vegas -161!
CAL/ANA - The Flames are 7-7 in their last 14 games and are very inconsistent over the last month. This will be the 2nd game on this 4 game roadie for Calgary. The Ducks head out on a 4 game east coast roadie after tonight. They finally ended the 11 game losing streak only to lose 6-1 to EDM last game. Lean to CAL -254 who have won 2 of 3 head to head this season with Anaheim.
