We lost on the EDM/LA u6.5 with 2 empty net goals! It would've been a 4-1 night, oh well what can you do?! Road teams had a 5-4 edge while games going over the total were 6-3, favs were just 5-4. We only have a 4 game card tonight, but I really like it. Analysis below.
MIN/WIN - The Jets have won then lost a game for 6 straight games and just keep on being inconsistent so it's hard to back a team like that. They beat Minny 2-0 last week at home, the Wild will be out for revenge in this divisional matchup as they already beat them in the other 2 games head to head prior to the loss. The Wild have won 8 of their last 9 games and are very good on the road. Strong lean to Minny -145, nice price!
FL/CAR - The Panthers are coming off a two-week break. Teams off long breaks so far this month have not fared well in the first game back especially on the road! The Panthers are very average on the road and the Canes played 4 games last week and will be much more game-ready. FL won the first 2 meetings head to head, but huge lean to Carolina -135 at home with a nice price, for the dominant home team. Also, I like Carolina 1st period to win.
ANA/CAL - The Ducks have only played once since the All-Star break and that was on Friday, a loss to SEA. Now they start a 3 game roadie, plus they were rested last night while Calgary played. The Flames are red hot, having won 7 in a row and 9 of their last 10 games but -189 is a steep price tonight against a very fresh/rested team. They split the first 2 games of the season head to head. Calgary will be playing their 5th game in 8 nights.
COL/VEG - Vegas sat rested while the Avs played a tough physical game against Dallas in which Oettinger stoned the Avs! Jack Eichel will make his season debut for Vegas, while Mark Stone went on LTIR! Vegas beat the Avs way back in October in their 1st meeting of the season. Vegas has been off for a week and played 2 games since the break, while the Avs have played 3 games. Small lean to Vegas -110.
