The play occurred in last night’s gameat the end of Edmonton killing off an LA Kings power-play. Nurse drove Byfield into the ice and once he was down proceeded to cross check the back of Byfield’s neck….pushing Byfield’s face into the ice again… it was a very dirty play and very unnecessary…
The NHL is gonna have a hearing tonight with Nurse…A suspension could be at hand and could affect the already injured Oilers as they enter a playoff series next week with the same LA Kings…
Take a look and tell me what you would decide as far as a punishment goes..
This play is reminiscent of the Tom Wilson hit on Panarin years ago…
So getting back to Nurse…. If the league doesn’t punish him, then you can be sure the king will take it upon themselves to punish him in the first round of the playoffs. He seems have already played each other in the playoffs so many years in a row. But this is just going to ignite that series. WHAT SAY YOU???
