NHL regular season game between Jets and Canucks, host teams Morrissey accidentally poked his own goalie in the eye.
Towards the end of the 3rd period, a scary moment occurred near Jets goal, Jets defensemen Morrissey attempted to get the puck away from his net as fast as possible, but his stick caught Connor Hellebuyck whos eye started bleeding. After consulting with doctors the goalie was allowed to return to his net and continue the game.
The game ended with a 1:0 victory for Jets and Hellebuyck made 29 saves being the 1st star of the game.
