UPDATE - Bear has been dealt to Vancouver for a 2023 fifth round pick.
After a couple weeks of chatter that Canes defenseman Ethan Bear was being shopped around the league, things are reportedly coming to a head.
Both Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman and The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun are reporting increased activity revolving around the 25-year-old righty. LeBrun says Carolina GM Don Waddell is talking to multiple teams and Friedman in this week's "32 Thought" column says that Vancouver, Buffalo (with injuries to Mattias Samuelsson and Henri Jokiharju) and Toronto (with Jake Muzzin possibly out long term) could be kicking tires.
