Tuesday night brings us 9 games and a massive tilt with Washington and the NY Islanders. The top two teams in the East Division are separated by 2 points in the standings and with an Isles win, these two will be tied for first place with just 17 games to play.
The second big tilt tonight is with the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes in the Central Division. These two teams are 1st and 3rd respectively in the division and separated by three points.
Nashville, Dallas, Chicago, SJ and NYR all needs wins badly tonight as they fight for their playoff lives.

Scenario #1 – Teams that are rested, either sitting at home or on the road while their opponent plays the night before. 17-7 over the last month of tracking it! Hitting at 74% rate! As well, the under is a nice 15-8-1 in these spots!
Scenario #2 – Teams that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 68-40. Hitting at 58% success rate.
Scenario #3 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 32-23-2 when teams play on the road back to back nights.
Scenario #4 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 91-66 in that situation.

Nashville/Detroit – Preds red hot winning 8 of their last 10 and have tightened up defensively with 6 unders, 2 overs and 2 went for a push on their game totals. Detroit is a different team at home keep in mind. Preds have won 4 of 6 head to head but Detroit has split their homes games against Nashville this season.
Dallas/Chicago – Dallas playing for the 5th time in 7 nights all on the road! Hawks have won 3 of 4 head to head this season.
Ducks/Sharks – SJ has won 4 in a row and 6 of their last 8 games. Sharks have won 4 of 5 head to head this season.
