Yet again, another bizarre result with STL getting run over by LA last night 5-1. We have a 12 game card tonight but again tread lightly as teams are still finding their way.
Overall, home teams are 87-65 to start the season with games going under the total on the season at 70-58-2.
OTT/TB - OTT +168 another big dog, they've been off for 3 days while TB is off their Cali road trip with CAR on deck.
PHI/NYR - PHI +210 is worth a shot as NYR have been extremely inconsistent to start the year. NYR have gone under the total 7 of 10 games.
VGK/WSH - The Caps are off a 4 game roadie while VGK have won 4 in a row. Look for a tight checking, defensive game.
MTL/MIN - The Wild are off a 5 game road trip with only one day off prior to this game. MTL has played very well and a live dog at +202.
BOS/PIT - The Pens are off a disappointing west coast roadie losing all 4. The Bruins have won 5 in a row, pass for me, the line looks like it's begging for BOS money.
NYI/CHI - Isles have won 3 in a row, while the Hawks have lost 3 in a row. Hawks have gone over the total in 7 of 9 games.
LA/DAL - Both teams are hard to get a handle on as they win 2, lose a few then win another. LA is solid on the road while DAL are good at home, pass for me.
NSH/EDM - The Oilers have won 5 of their last 6 games and are playing great hockey, while the Preds have been awful to start the year. I'm quite surprised at EDM -160.
SEA/CGY - 6th game of their long homestand but not worth -235. Pass for me as SEA doesn't match up well with CGY.
FL/AZ - Yotes +245 is worth a shot, last home game before their 14 game road trip. FL -310 is getting too much respect from last years results as they have a horrible defense.
NJ/VAN - The Canucks have finally turned the corner winning two in a row while NJ has won 6 of their last 7 games.
ANA/SJ - The Ducks just snapped their 7 game losing streak with a win over TOR. The Sharks aren't much better at 3-7 on the season, pass for me.
