Brett Hull, who looks like what Gary Busey would have looked like had he not basted in vodka for 40 years, finished his career in 2005-06 by playing five games with the Coyotes, post lockout.
Hull scored a remarkable 25 goals and 68 points as a 40 year old with the Red Wings the year before the lockout canceled the 2004 season.
The year off must have done him in, 'cause he played five games, got one assist than hung 'em up.
Hull scored 39 goals as a 38 year old (also with Detroit). Jesus Christ! What an animal.
What possessed this millionaire to come back to the NHL after a year off where he turned 41? I would love to know.
He has 1391 career NHL points, and 1 of them was scored with the then Phoenix Coyotes. That's good enough to rank him 48th on the all-time Coyotes list.

Coming in at #48 on the top 50 films list is the 1954 Hitchock film Rear Window......just kidding, that's #48 on the AFI's list of overrated dramas, on my list, film #48 features an actor far superior to the amateurish Jimmy Stewart: Sean William Scott, the Stiff-man himself.
That's right, #48 is Role Models, one of the funniest movies ever made. Whereas Hitchcock's study in self isolated paranoia may be THE movie for these troubled times, it pales in comparison to Role Models on a laugh-per-minute comparison.
Whereas Kim Novak gave what is considered to be one of the greatest performances of all time, Jane Lynch was given the best supporting actress role (from the Blockbuster Awards, not the Oscars) for her portrayal of a hilarious ex-drug addict Gayle.
This movie has literally one of the greatest casts ever assembled: Lynch, Stiffler, and Paul Rudd, McLovin, a hilarious kid, the guy who plays Sgt. Boyle, Keegan Michael Kay, Ken Marino and Jorma Taccone.
Even Louis C.K makes an appearance. (Now that everything is canceled, maybe he's back?)
The movie Role Models is actually the best reviewed movie on this list, picking up a "mostly positive" 77% from the aggregates.
It was released in 2008 and did not win Best Picture, a title that (I grudgingly admit deservedly went to) No Country for Old Men the movie that I ranked #51 and had to cut from this list.
