Just talked to a source and then a team who was contacted regarding the Knights' Max Pacioretty.
With Vegas for the last two seasons, Pacioretty finds himself on the trading block after a 2019-20 campaign featuring 32 goals and 66 points in 71 games, along with five goals and three helpers in 16 games inside the Edmonton bubble during the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Pacioretty's 32 goals and 66 point were both tops among all Golden Knight skaters.
The 32-year-old Pacioretty has three years remaining on his current deal with the Knights, who find themselves in cap trouble, and at $7 million per season.
Pacioretty has totaled 280 goals and 554 points in 763 career games between the Canadiens and Golden Knights since breaking in to the NHL in 2008-09.
More to come...
