Looking back at last night's games, home teams were a nice 5-1 in their home openers, while totals were 5-1 to the over! We have a 10-game card tonight, but during the first few weeks of the season, you have to be patient and find your spots as they say. I won't post any of my system plays until we get 3-4 weeks into the season as we establish trends/angles. Freddie Anderson and John Gibson stood on their heads, as they say, willing their team to wins. Gibson even set up Troy Terry for his 2nd goal of the night, for the OT winner!
Teams in back-to-back nights or back-to-back on the road, tend to go under the total over the years at a 67% clip going back ten years. Let's see how it plays out early in the season.

NYI - ML(+114)(1 Unit) The Panthers were a very average road team last year and I expect the NYI to come out of the gate hard, at home under their new head coach.
OTT - ML(-128)(1 Unit) I expect the Sens to come out flying with renewed confidence after all of their off-season additions.
Minny - ML(-146)(1 Unit) The NYR weren't a great road team last year and small lean to the home team in their opener.
CGY - ML(-146)(2 Units) Flames catch the Avs off a huge emotional game last night plus their back up goalie. CGY is rested, nice spot for them.
