Thursday Night Pix - 5 plays! Back with other plays later! (bet river sports)

Last night 2-2 -.76 Units YTD 25-24-1 -4.42 Units

Road teams are 9-3 the last 2 nights and Vegas won in Colorado/Dallas without their top 2 forwards. Florida made a statement at home against Boston but we have a rematch on the weekend in Boston. We entered the night with 4 teams that had perfect records, but the Oilers went down at home, leaving us with three. Two more teams with perfect records in Carolina and St. Louis play at home tonight looking to keep the winning streak going.

We have a few solid systems plays tonight so let's hope for a few bounces to go our way for once.

The Bruins and Flyers playing back-to-back games on the road, with both of their opponents sitting at home rested in Carolina and Vancouver. The Canucks looked like they had no legs after their 6 game roadie in their home opener. I look for the Canucks to rebound tonight. Canes would love nothing more than beat the Bruins, one of their rivals over the years.

Calgary is on fire winning their first 4 games of this road trip, but are in a tough spot tonight, playing their 5th road game in 8 nights, or you can look at it another way, playing their 4th road game in 6 nights. Pitt is currently on an 8 game homestand and oddly enough have rotated wins and losses this year. If that trend continues, the Pens are slated to win tonight lol. The Flames have rotated goalies on this road trip so expect Markstrom in goal. Both teams are a combined 9 of 12 going over the total this year.

Colorado is finally healthy and the Avs/Blues is a big rivalry. Blues 5-0 but with O'Reilly in covid protocol will hurt this squad. Small lean to Avs after Colorado had a disappointing effort 2 nights ago against Vegas.

Buffalo is off to a great start at 4-2, but only one road game so far. Now they start a 4 game roadie against a Ducks team that has lost 4 in a row. Plus Anaheim has Vegas on deck tomorrow night. I love the team game the Sabres play and Vegas has caught up to their fast start as they are only a small dog at +109.

Minnesota is off to a great start, at 5-1 on the season, 3-0 on the road. They are only a -105 fav in Seattle, something smells here. Oh ya that's right, the Wild have the Avs on deck, with a possible look-ahead spot so you know Talbot won't start in goal.

Winnipeg gets Blake Wheeler back tonight after a huge comeback in Anaheim 2 nights ago. LA is a mess on the blue line without Drew Doughty and have lost 5 in a row now. Jets are playing solid hockey.

San Jose is off a 5 game roadie and now start a 5 game homestand. Montreal might catch a tired Sharks team tonight, nice system play here.

One thing that I would like the readers to do is to post any goalie info that they might see throughout the day in the comment section as sometimes changes occur, which can affect if you place a wager on the game or not. This info can help all of us profit. As well, if there are any prop plays that you think are worth a shot because you follow a specific team or division, please post that in the comment section too. Help each other win dollars!
