We lost our only play last night in a game that AZ dominated in the first 2 periods and then with 6 minutes to go in the game, up 2-1, Kessel takes a horrible penalty. NYR ties it, then AZ takes too many men on ice call, NYR scores to win. I had liked the Hawks and the Ducks on my leans but left it alone on a quiet night. We have a 10 game card tonight with the game analysis below for tonight's games. Unless other games get postponed!
**Cart/Primeau goalies** The Flyers are definitely trending up and have won 3 in a row. They should dominate MTL as they're without 9 players! The Habs have lost 7 in a row and still haven't hit rock bottom yet. Strong lean to the Flayers -140!
**Forsberg/Vasilevsky goalies** Both the Sens and Lightning have won 5 of their last 6 games but it was Ottawa who knocked off TB on Saturday 4-0 in Ottawa. The Lightning coaching staff has even gone on record as saying they are all over the players to not look ahead to the big game against Colorado on Thursday. Sens are playing their best hockey of the season, with nothing to lose which is always a recipe for success. Lean to Ottawa +215! No way TB should be -252.
**Quick/Bobrovsky goalies** The Panthers have 7 players in covid protocol and that list could grow. Florida seems to have hit a bit of a wall lately having lost 3 of their last 4 games. LA +162 is incredible value considering how depleted Florida will be tonight. Lean to LA!
**Brossoit/Blackwood, not yet confirmed goalies** NJ has lost 8 of their last 10 games and is adding players to the covid protocol list as we speak. Vegas has looked dominant of late, winning 5 of 6 and in the process beat Calgary, Dallas, Minnesota, and Boston. I always worry if a team like the Knights takes a team like NJ lightly after playing against great competition. Brossoit will be probably in goal for Vegas with the NYR on deck Friday. Small lean to Vegas -170.
**Nedeljkovic/Anderson goalies** Carolina now has 7 players in covid protocol(4 of which play center)and is off a 4 game roadie out west that was shortened when their game was canceled in Minny. Huge lean to Detroit here at +164.
**Ullmark/Sorokin goalies** Boston is in a tough stretch, off a 3 game west coast roadie, home for the Vegas game in which they looked awful, and now on the road for 3 more. Like I mentioned earlier both Bergeron and Marchand are out with the covid, their top 2 forwards. Strong lean to NYI +110.
**Luukkonen/Talbot goalies** Buffalo snapped their 7 game losing streak in Winnipeg the other night, but Minny has been off since Sunday due to the Carolina game being canceled. The Wild have Florida on deck, I wonder how interested they will be with Buffalo in town. Pass for me, -350 is nuts! Way better games on the card.
Kuemper/Saros not confirmed yet** The Preds are without their top 3 centers due to injury and covid. Nashville has 6 players in covid protocol but has won 5 in a row. The Avs are hot winning their last 5 games but do have TB on deck. Lean to Colorado -149.
**Merzlikins/Skinner goalies** Columbus is playing their 3rd in 5 nights on the road and has lost 7 of their last 9 games. The Oilers have lost 6 in a row and are -200, just too high for a struggling team. Pass for me.
**Demko/Hill goalies** The Cancuks have won 5 in a row under Boudreau but they might be running out of adrenalin gas as they fell behind 3-0 to CLB the other night and fought back to win 4-3 late in the game. The first road game under Boudreau and SJ had an awful game against Seattle in which they completely quit! Vancouver has Toronto on deck and the Sharks coaching staff went off on SJ for their performance against the Kraken. I see SJ bouncing back at home.
