It's been six weeks since the Islanders have won three straight games. That can change tonight as they head north to face the Montreal Canadiens.
With the Islanders playing in Canada, the talk this morning was, as you probably guessed, John Tavares's contract.

After an abysmal December that saw the team fall out of a playoff spot, the team can find their way back into a wild card spot with a win tonight.
Thomas Greiss will get the start tonight. His last start was a disaster in Philly, allowing five goals. With the team back in Brooklyn to face the Devils tomorrow night, Doug Weight has to throw Greiss out there.
Tanner Fritz will replace Casey Cizikas in the lineup. Weight has only said that Cizikas will be out for awhile.
