Santeri Hatakka, who was selected by the Sharks in the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Draft, was named to Finland’s World Juniors roster for the second year in a row. He’ll be one of eight defenders on the team’s roster.
Artemi Kniazev, who was selected by the Sharks with the 48th overall selection in last year’s NHL Draft, has made the final roster for Team Russia. The defenseman wasn’t initially listed for the selection camp.

Thomas Bordeleau, who was selected 38th overall by the Sharks in this year’s draft, was left off Team USA’s final roster, as a result of COVID protocols.
Vanbiesbrouck did confirm a positive test this morning. @mattyports reported earlier today that the Beecher family confirmed it was John Beecher (BOS). Decision also impacted Thomas Bordeleau (SJS). Both players were obviously crushed by the news.
