My first impression of them is…
Really good. I know there were other options in play including the Snoop Dogg Gin and Juice and the robo Penguin. I would have been fine with any of those. I feel the same about the one they went with. I love the yellow. Hockey doesn’t utilize colors enough and this is definitely a bold color choice. How great would a Toronto vs Pittsburgh matchup look with the Penguins new thirds and Toronto in blue? There doesn’t always have to be a need for a team wearing a white jersey. Washington reds vs Pittsburgh yellow. Philadelphia orange vs Pittsburgh yellow. There are many visually intriguing matchups to be had.
