These are some of the greatest battles of all time.......but nothing tops tonight's PREMIER game:
The Ottawa "No Seriously, Chris Tierney is a first liner" Senators vs the Arizona Coyotes.
As the kids used to say about five years ago, this is gonna be epic, playa. If Chris Tierney doesn't make you tune in, perhaps you're a big Cody Cici fan? Maybe you like the ghost of Matt Duchene? I mean, it is Halloween after-all!
To be fair to "coach" Tocchet, it does make sense to sit your most offensively talented player in favor eight guys who, combined, do not have his skills.
I get it.
Also missing from the Coyotes lineup tonight is their mascot, Howler. He was last seen exiting a local Philadelphia meth-den with Gritty, and if you have seen him, do not approach, just call the authorities.
Anti Raanta will be back in net, and the Coyotes will look to win their fourth straight. For perspective, the Coyotes didn't win their fourth game in total last year until November 16th.
That was also the same day they won their first regulation game of the season.
The Coyotes have five wins so far this year, and four of those are in regulation. It took them until December 27th last year to win four games in regulation.
So there is progress. I like the team a lot this year.
I just wish they would not sit their top prospect, and only potential 1A centreman in the organization.
It's crazy.
Anyways, enjoy the game, it's going to be broadcast nationally on every channel in the world and is a very, very big deal.
