Now that Chicago has made what I believe to be an absolutely KILLER move in acquiring Anthony Duclair, the gauntlet has been thrown. The Hawks have always been a team to make their deadline moves early, and this year they have been all the more aggressive.
Next up?
I would keep an eye on three other teams out West:
Calgary.
The Flames also like to make early moves and they are also in a battle for the playoffs...I have already heard Pacioretty mentioned with Calgary this am.
Nashville.
Also looking to add a little more offense and perhaps an emergency goalie with experience...
St Louis.
The Blues will feel the pressure the most from the Hawks move.
