It is that time of year again. The time to admit to the world the "other" team that you secretly pull for...We do this each year and I can safely say these fit into 2 categories.
1. The team you grew up with but don't live near anymore/ your dad's favorite team. 2. The team who you fell in love with as a kid because your team was likely not as good. 3. A team that is currently exciting to watch and even though you never liked them before...you do now...
I will start...
Favorite team: Flyers.
Second Favorite Team: Nashville Predators. I grew up a Montreal Canadiens fan, but when I started working in hockey I got to work with these teams and the Preds were always the classiest and kindest to me...Since then I find myself always pulling for them and telling people what I do believe to be true: A game in Nashville, with all the fan stuff and music bar right outside on Broadway, is the most fun you will have going to a hockey game in the entire NHL.
