The 9th Best Player to Ever Wear the Coyotes Uniform (Coyotes)

Writing constantly about the Arizona Coyotes and never having been there myself, I'd just like to send out some useless but well meant best wishes to the state.

You feel especially bad for the literate people who live there who have to suffer because irresponsible and poorly informed people helped to elect an unqualified racist whose bumbling and incompetence was in every way predictable.

Now, onto your regularly scheduled programming.

When last we left off, we had named Clayton Keller the 10th best Coyotes player of all-time.

Today, we shall name Ilya Bryzgalov the 9th best player.

For the franchise, Bryzgalov is second in wins, first in games, second in shut-outs. He played more games that Khabibulin, and has more wins than Smith.

He's also the single greatest personality in team history.

There you have it, Ilya Bryzgalov is the 9th best Coyotes ever.

#9 Zodiac

The best movie by my favorite director, is 2007's Zodiac.

The reason I like this movie so much is that it could be five hours long, but it distills so much information into shots, looks, expressions etc.

Its the kind of movie you have to call a film, and the kind of film that makes you want to learn about making movies. As opposed to what I usually want, which is to just laugh a bit and watch some crap blow up.

It also helps that this is one of the great unsolved mysteries of all-time, and its made by possibly the greatest filmmaker to ever live.

Say what you will about Hollywood and the Oscars, but at least the damn Dublin Film Circle had the guts to name Fincher the best director that year.

Also an interesting fact that I learned was that in its opening weekend, Zodiac, one of the greatest films ever made, was outgrossed by Wild Hogs, the Tim Allen movie.

So if you ever wondered how the American public could do something so horrifically stupid as to elect a fat conman who wears makeup, smells bad and lies constantly, here is your first clue.

To the ninth greatest film of all time - Wild Hogs! I mean Zodiac.
