Take the over (nhl)

If there was ever two points staring right in the face of the New York Islanders, it's tonight. The Islanders take their three-game road winning streak into the desert against the Arizona Coyotes. The Isles have scored 19 goals in those three games.

It's quite possible they can put up a seven spot once again as Arizona has given up the second-most goals in the league, only behind, you guess it, the New York Islanders.

However, the desert hasn't been kind to the Isles as they are 2-5-1 in their last eight in Arizona, including a shootout lost last season. That extra point would've ensured a postseason berth for New York.

It's hard to believe but the team can jump back into a wild card spot with a win tonight.

No surprise as head coach will use the same lineup as Saturday. Jaroslav Halak will start.

The team got some good news today as Casey Cizikas could possibly return Thursday in Las Vegas. Cizikas left the Rangers game on January 13 with an upper body injury. It will be good to get some stability back on the fourth line. With the possibility of Cizikas returning Thursday, it would be in the team's best interest to send Michael Dal Colle back to Bridgeport. Dal Colle hasn't done anything one way or the other, but just hasn't stood out. The big knock on him so far professionally is his inability to get off his shot. In his four games with the Islanders, Dal Colle has one shot.
