Ryan Suter is set toplay his 1000th NHL game tonight as the Wild host the slumping Los Angeles, who have lost five in a row.
The Wild enter the game tonight on a bit of a roll having won three in a row, but nothing toget overly excited about. Tonight is another test playing a team that is struggling in the Kings.
Jonathan Quick has not been the Quick we have known for many years coming in with and 0-3-1 record to go with his 4.55 GAA and .845 save percentage.
A lot was expected from the Kings after making the big splash in the Summer signing Ilya Kovalchuk, the early returns are disappointing to say the least.
Tonight is another night to see if Nino Niederreiter can get things going offensively and the hope is that he just relaxes and gets back to playing the game with a better edge and his production will follow.
The Wild will ice the same lineup once again as Joel Eriksson Ek returned to practice yesterday but has not been cleared to play just yet.
Wild projected lines: Zucker Staal Read Parise Koivu Granlund Niederreiter Coyle Greenway Foligno Fehr Brown
Suter Dumba Brodin Spurgeon Seeler Pateryn
Dubnyk Stalock
