Looking back at last night, naturally everything points to the Hawks/Stars total going under and it sails over! The Wings got it done for us but the Hawks gave up 3 PPG including one in OT and that was the difference in the Dallas game. The Oilers rebounded to win 5-3 after falling behind 2-0. I won't be placing any wagers until half hour before puck drop due to all the uncertainty of players testing positive for covid. So be sure to check the blog throughout the day. We only have 4 games today, 2-afternoon starts and 2 in the evening. The analysis is below.
2 pm EST - The Isles have won 3 of their last 5 games and get the Knights in a nice spot as Vegas is playing their 4th roadie in less than 6 nights. Vegas has won 7 of their last 8 games as well. But strong lean to NYI +120 as a small dog at home.
**Lehner/Sorokin goalies** 3 pm EST - The Blues are without 10 players, while the Jets are sitting at home and rested with their new interim HC. STL has won 5 of their last 6 games and start this 3 game Canadian road trip this afternoon. The Jets are -135 for a reason and I like them here at home today.
**Lindgren/Hellebuyck goalies** Pittsburgh has won 6 in a row and now start a home and home set with NJ tonight. The Devils have 5 players in covid protocol and 9 in total due to injuries. NJ has lost 9 of their last 10 games and 5 in a row. Strong lean to the Pens -163.
LA looked awful last night in Carolina and is missing some key players both due to injury and covid protocol. The Caps now have 5 players in protocol. This game is a pass for me, but with LA playing their 4th in 6 nights plus back-to-back to nights on the road, I might play the Caps closer to puck drop depending on the price. The Kings are 1-2 in back to back on the road this season. Plus LA has lost the 4th game in 6 nights on both occasions this year, 3-0 and 3-2OT. It's currently -150 for Washington.
