We hit nicely on the afternoon game with Ottawa! You gotta love the start to the day on those types of wins! The Ducks played a terrific road game and deserved to win as a dog as did the Hawks who got stiffed on a bad bounce to lose late in the 3rd period. The Sabres played a solid game too but lost in a shootout. NYI got us a nice win while the Flames are definitely trending down even though they outshot Boston, the Bruins capitalized on their chances and Calgary got questionable goaltending for the time in a while. Keep playing the systems I post, if you played against teams playing their 5th in 8 or 4th in 6 on the road, it went 2-0 on the day, with wins betting against TB & Anaheim. The East had a massive edge over the West in head-to-head matchups last night, going a whopping 7-1! Make sure you follow along in the comments section each night, especially on the weekends as these late games are getting easier to read with the public on certain teams as the line moves a certain way. If you followed me in the comment section, you would've got a few late-night winners in SJ and LA! We have a 5 game card tonight with the game analysis below for tonight's games.
New Angle Note - I'm working on stats for a new angle with teams off the road trip in the 2nd game back home versus if they lose the 1st game at home or win the 1st one off the road trip. I hope to have the info ready to post on Monday!
**Saros/Georgiev confirmed goalies** The NY Rangers are in a tough spot, 4th game in 6 nights but it's been a road/home/road/home game in that order! Add in the fact that the Rangers have Colorado on deck, a team they will look ahead to no doubt, this is a bad spot for NY. The Preds have won 4 in a row, 5 of their last 6 games, and are hot too like the Rangers. I think this game means more to Nashville as they will get up for this game, versus what NY thinks of it. I hate the 4 in 6, so small lean to the Preds +130 as this line makes no sense for the Rangers -149 at home.
**Stolarz/Lindgren confirmed goalies** Anaheim is playing their 5th game in 7 nights and only Ottawa has had to do that this year in which they lost that 5th game 5-1 to NYI this past Tuesday night. It's a horrible spot for the Ducks as all of their 5 games have come on the road, whereas Ottawa had a mix of road and home games in that same stretch. STL has won all 3 games on this current homestand and should roll the Ducks here, plus Stolarz will be in goal too for Anaheim. The Ducks really got up for the PItt game and sunk sooooo much energy into this game. Strong lean to the Blues -150! Grab it now!!
**Bobrovsky/Kuemper confirmed goalies** Florida at Colorado is a big match-up between two of the top teams in the league this season. Both teams have key injuries, so it's wash there. The Avs are unreal at home and have won 3 straight games, scoring 7 goals in each game. The over is a strong lean here as both teams go over the total a lot, plus add to the fact that the Avs score in the first ten minutes as they jump on their opponents early and often. The record is 14-2 scoring in the opening 10 minutes and going over the 1st period too, the same record! The Avs are great home while the Panthers struggle on the road. Strong lean to Colorado -133! Grab it now, before it goes up!
**Raanta/Demko confirmed goalies** The Canucks have won 3 in a row under Boudreau and I will ride the hot streak especially at home! The fact that the Canucks are dogs in a great spot is dynamite. Carolina is playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the west coast plus the Canucks sat rested while the Canes played a huge emotional/physical game last night in Edmonton in which you could tell how much Carolina wanted the win. Strong lean to Vancouver +112. I wouldn't be surprised if the Canucks end up a small fav by puck drop.
**Talbot/Lehner confirmed goalies** Vegas sat rested last night while the Wild played in LA! Vegas has won 2 of 3 on this homestand and go out on the road for a 4 game roadie after tonight's game. Minnesota has become one of the Knight's rivals and the fact they rested Lehner last game(they lost 4-3 to Philly, as I predicted they got caught looking ahead) shows you how much they are putting into the game. The Wild will be playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the road and teams in that spot have not done well this season. Minny played a tight physical/defensive game in LA last night and their 8 win streak was snapped. The opposition has gone 20-5 in these spots when facing a team that's playing 4 in 6 on the road, so give me Vegas -140!!
