The Wild wrap up their five road trip (1-1-2) tonight in Toronto against the Maple Leafs. The Wild won the previous matchup back in late October 3-2 in St. Paul, and have won the last six meetings between the clubs.

The Wild have been a very frustrating team of late giving a strong effort followed by a very ordinary performance. Bruce Boudreau has been searching for the right buttons to push to get this team to perform to a higher level on a nightly basis.

Tonight the Wild will need a strong performance from the opening faceoff as the Leafs are very strong at home. Mike Babcock will have his team ready to reverse the trend of Wild wins versus the Leafs.

This Leafs team is far more skilled than the Leaf teams the Wild have taken six straight from. They are clearly a team on the rise as is much of the Eastern Conference as the balance of power shifts from the West to the East.

Devan Dubnyk will be making his 300th NHL start tonight.

The good news is the Leafs have a winning record so the Wild will most likely bring a better effort with attention to detail. They will need to if they expect to come home on a high note and winning record on this five game trip.
