Later today, SKA St. Petersburg will play their fourth and final game of the round-robin Sochi Hockey Open preseason tournament in Sochi, Russia, when then take on the Russian national under-23 team. The exhibition game will be played at 12:30 p.m. EDT. There will be a free live stream of the game available here.
To date this preseason, Flyers 2023 first-round pick Matvei Michkov has compiled four points (two goals, two assists) for SKA in three games. More importantly, he has moved from right wing to center; an experiment the player himself said hopes to see continue into the regular season come September.
