The San Jose Sharks reportedly attempted to trade forward Evander Kane earlier this offseason, according to The Athletic’s Kevin Kurz.

According to Kurz, many of Kane’s teammates don’t want him back next season. The forward is being investigated by the NHL for allegations of betting on his own games, made by his wife, Anna, which you can read about here. Kane was also placed on voluntary leave from the Hockey Diversity Alliance earlier this week.
