This is really starting to move pretty quickly...
Word of the Canucks being interested in Karlsson went through the hockey world like a steam train yesterday, but they’re far from the only team out west with interest...
In fact, I am told there are two other western teams whose interest has been going on for longer and may be further along the process.
San Jose has been looking to make a splash since the Tavares Sweeps. There is a strong feeling among those in Sharkland that the Western Conference could be there for the taking...adding one more piece could very well put San Jose over the edge...
Edmonton also has a mandate to make a splash although they have been very quiet about it so far...The Oilers see Karlsson as the perfect piece to turn them from a solid team to a bona fide contender....
And of course the Canucks are also right there. I personally admire the fact that they and not in rebuild mode one bit as was apparent by their summer signings..
Where do you think makes the most sense for Karlsson? Who would offer up the most in a deal?
