One important member of the forward group who wasn’t even necessarily a lock to be on the team this year is Seth Jarvis. Selected 13th overall by the Hurricanes in 2020, Jarvis still had another year of CHL eligibility remaining and Carolina had the ability to allow his entry-level contract to slide once again. However, Jarvis capitalized on his opportunity in the NHL and has earned his spot. He already has an impressive five goals and 14 points in 22 games, a pace of 19 goals and 52 points per 82 games.
