After 2 games in a series its always fun for some Second Guessing of sorts….Would you change your prediction?
Florida vs Toronto… Original Pick: Toronto in 7 I sure didn’t see the Panthers taking the first two in Toronto….however, the reality is both these teams have been much better away from home in these playoffs and I see this series still going the difference… I am not taking anything away from Florida. I LOVE THIS team. Tkachuk was a BRILLIANT add and if Bob keeps this magic going there is NO limit to how many series the Panthers can win…This Toronto team still has some magic in them though. They had horrible puck luck in game two with posts and missing open nets…I see this series potentially a lot like the Devils/Rangers series…The Leafs could take 2 in Florida. Then its a best of three…. New Pick: Toronto in 7. (Unless of course Florida wins tonight!
Edmonton vs Vegas Original Pick: Edmonton in 6 Game 2 last night was quite the statement. I still believe Campbell will be a key at some point moving forward, but last night showed how much more well equipped the Oilers are to face adversity than they once were… New Pick: Edmonton in 6
Seattle vs. Dallas Original Pick: Seattle in 7 The Kraken showed what they could do in winning game 1, but the reality is it took overtime and the Stars barely showed up for game 1. The Stars, when playing the way they can, are as good as anyone left in the playoffs. As much as I’ love to see Seattle do it…I’ve changed my mind after seeing them play each other. Carolina vs. NJ. Original Pick: New Jersey in 7 The Canes defense is just too much for the limited offense NJ has right now. Especially in Carolina when Brind’amour can match lines..The Devils MUST win the next two at home or else this series is over fast… New Pick: Canes in 5
