With the Expansion Draft now only hours away, many of the picks are being reported ahead of time, similar to what we saw with the Vegas Expansion Draft back in 2017.
According to Ryan Kennedy from The Hockey News, Seattle will select forward Jordan Eberle from the Islanders.
Kraken to Select Jordan Eberle from Islanders

According to @TheHockeyNews' @THNRyanKennedy, the #SeaKraken will select Jordan Eberle from the New York #Islanders during Wednesday's expansion draft: https://t.co/uzqoKCDqXF
Seattle’s pick seemingly should've come down to either Eberle or Josh Bailey, who were the two notable forwards exposed for the draft (though based on some of the other surprising picks being reported, we probably shouldn’t have even been so sure they’d take one of the forwards). With Eberle being selected, the Islanders will clear $5.5 million in cap space, which would have been on the books for the next three years.
