Sorry folks, bad capping last night. Road teams were a perfect 5-0 last night, with totals going under, big edge at 4-1! Favs had a slight edge going 3-2. Between games going under more, the road teams winning more, and favs not hitting the way they were for most of the month, it's something to watch for this weekend. The weekends have been very good to us, so lets rebound with a big weekend!!
ANA/OTT - 12:30pm EST - The Ducks are playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the road. The Sens are really banged up too, having lost 3 more top 9 forwards over the last 2 games. I lean to the under as Ottawa has played 4 straight under and is more defensive on home ice. Ducks have gone over their last 4 games but an early start means sleep legs!
LA/PHI - 1pm EST - The Flyers have lost 13 in a row and it's very hard to back to a terrible team. LA is playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the road, all going under.
SEA/NYI - 2pm EST - Postponed due to storm!
WINN/STL - 3pm EST - The Blues are 7-3 in their last 10 games and red hot at home while the Jets have lost 6 in a row and are a mess. Lean to STL -170.
SJ/FL - 6pm EST - The Sharks have been hard to figure out since the break, they win 2, lose 3, win 2 more. The Panthers meanwhile are a machine on homeice, go with the hot team, lean to FL PL -120.
TOR/DET - The Leafs were rested while Detroit played in Pitt last night! Detroit is 3-7 in their last 10 games while Toronto is the reverse going 7-3. Mrazek in goal for TOR. Lean to TOR -210.
VEG/TB - The Knights are 1-2 on their current trip and this will be their 4th game in 6 nights on the road too, all going under! TB is 8-2 in their last 10 and are playing their best hockey of the year, lean to TB -155.
EDM/MTL - The Oilers have won 3 in a row and might finally be out of their funk! The Habs on the other hand have lost 10 of 11 games since the break. Lean to EDM -192.
NJ/CAR - The Canes are 8-3 since the break while NJ has lost 7 of their last 9 games, lean to CAR PL -125.
BUFF/AZ - Buffalo has played once in the last week and they lost 5-0 to Ottawa. AZ played last night against Boston and is off that 4 games east coast roadie too. Teams in the West are 1-6 in their 2nd game back from the east coast. Lean to AZ +105 as the Sabres have no goalies available for the game!
VAN/CAL - The Flames are playing their 4th game this week in which they won 7-1 and 6-0 but lost 5-1 the other night in STL. Vancouver is only 3-6 in the New Year and playing inconsistent hockey with both of their goaltenders out. Lean to CAL -185.
