We have a 12 game card tonight, lets find some winners in the afternoon games to set us up for a more profitable night with some teams in good spots. Analysis below. I will post goalie info all day in the comment section.
NJ/DAL - 2pm EST - Two teams going in different directions as the Devils have lost 5 straight and DAL is 7-3 in their last 10 games. The Stars won at NJ 5-1 earlier this season. Lean to DAL PL-105 as they need to keep winning to stay in the playoff hunt for the wild card spot. NJ is starting a brutal 5 game roadie.
WSH/PITT - 3pm EST - The Pens have lost 4 of their last 5 games and are 4-6 in their last 10 games. Crosby missed last game due to a non-covid illness. The Caps have won 2 of 3 head to head this year including a 4-3 OT win in Pitt. Small lean to WSH +130.
FL/NSH - 6pm EST - The Preds rested last night while FL had to come from behind to beat the Sabres 4-3. FL is 9-1 in their last 10 games and have won 6 in a row. The Preds have won 4 of their last 5 games. NSH won at FL back in February 6-4 and the Preds have PITT on deck tomorrow too.
MTL/TOR - The Leafs are off a huge emotional roadie with wins over DAL and TB, plus huge home wins over BOS and FL prior to the road trip. This could be a bad letdown spot for the Leafs. The Habs haven't been nearly as good of late going 4-6 in their last 10 games. Leafs have gone over the total in 6 straight games. The Habs beat the Leafs at home twice this year while TOR won at home in head to head meetings. Lean to the over 6.5, no way I back TOR -417!
CLB/DET - Both teams have been terrible over the last month. CLB 2-9 in their last 11 games while DET 5-13 in their last 18 games while going over the total 13 of those games. Both teams have beat each other head to head at home. Lean to the over 6.
OTT/NYR - The Rangers won both games at Ottawa this year 2-1 and 3-2. Expect Georgiev to start in goal for NYR. Sens still without Stutzle/Batherson/Chabot. Head to head 8 of the last 10 games have gone under the total. Lean to NYR PL -105.
CAL/SEA - The Flames have won the first 3 games of this 4 game roadie. Seattle has played better of late too, going 5-5 in their last 10 games and always play better at home. Flames have won both head to head meetings, but this is a pass for me at -208 for CAL.
ANA/PHI - Both teams are terrible but the Flyers aren't playing as poorly as Anaheim. The Ducks have gone in the tank since they traded away key pieces at the deadline. Lean to PHI -110. ANA beat PHI 4-1 back in January and are starting a 4 game east coast roadie.
NYI/STL - The Isles beat STL 2-1 a few weeks ago at home and are 7-3 in their last 10 games. Both teams won tight games last night. Huge lean to the under 6 with both having played last night.
COL/EDM - Both teams are very hot and the Oilers have their first 6 game win streak since 2016. The Avs won the first meeting at home 3-2 OT. Avs played last night in WIN while the Oilers sat rested. Lean to EDM +120.
SJ/VAN - Both teams going nowhere and but the Canucks won both games in SJ head to head this year. SJ has lost 5 in a row and the Canucks should roll the Sharks. Lean to VAN -145.
AZ/VEG - Vegas has been off since Wednesday and absolutely needs this win for the final wild card spot or 3rd in their division, chasing LA. AZ has 12 players on the injured list too. VEG PL -140.
