EDM/FL - 12:30pm EST - After starting 5-0 under their new HC, the Oiler's have now lost 2 straight and given up 12 goals in those two losses. FL beat EDM 6-0 last month on the road and the total is set at 7. The Panthers have lost 2 in a row at home for the first time this year and have gone over the total in 8 of their last 10 games. Lean to FL -202 as they only have one game this week on Thursday, so they are a rested a bunch, and the over in this one looks enticing.
WSH/PHI - 12:30pm EST - The Flyers have lost 6 in a row again while the Caps can't string together more than 2 wins a row. This will be the third meeting this year, with each team winning on the road head to head. No lean here as I hate betting on struggling or inconsistent teams.
NYR/PITT - 3pm EST - The Pens are struggling having lost 3 in a row and have played 7 games since the All-Star break. Pitt is 4-7 in their last games after winning 17 of 19 games. NYR have won 5 of their last 6 games and have only played 4 games since the All-Star break so this is a rested team. The Rangers have gone under the total in 3 straight games and 7 of their last 10 games. This will be the first meeting of the season between these 2 teams. Huge lean to NYR +140.
MTL/OTT - The Habs have won 4 in a row while Ottawa went 5-5 during their 10 games in 16 nights. The Sens hit the road for 5 games after this one and this will be the first meeting of the year between these two. Lean to Ottawa here as MTL has far more injuries to contend with than the Sens. Ottawa -169. Small lean to the under 6.
TB/NSH - Stadium Series outdoor game at Nissan Stadium that holds 70k fans. This is the first meeting of the year between these two teams and NSH has won 2 in a row after a 4 game skid. Small lean to the Preds +145 in this spot at home as TB has not been nearly as effective on the road.
TOR/DET - Both teams are 5-5 in their last 10 games and have gone over the total in 7 of their last 10 games. The Leafs have won both meetings this 7-4 and 5-4. Small lean to DET +184, nice odds for a good home team. Leafs -221 on the road isn't worth taking the chance.
COL/VEG - The Knights have lost 4 of their last 5 games. Both teams played last night and have split the first 2 games head to head this season. Both teams are going in different directions, lean to COL -141.
BOS/SJ - The Bruins have won 3 in a row and now have Brad Marchand back in their lineup. Boston beat SJ 4-3 earlier this season and have beat the Sharks in 8 straight games. SJ just snapped their 7 game losing streak, pass for me with the steep price on Boston -175.
MIN/CAL - The Flames are off a horrible loss on the road at Vancouver 7-1 after winning 10 in a row. These 2 teams are playing two straight head to head. The Wild are playing their 4th game in 6 nights on the road. Huge lean to CAL -145.
NYI/LA - The Isles were rested last night while LA played a huge emotional game against in-state rival ANA. This will be the Isles 3rd game in 5 nights on the road. LA went 4-0 on their roadie but this will be a tough spot for them, look for tight defensive hockey. LA won in NYI last month 3-2 in their first meeting. Lean to NYI +105 and the under 5.5.
