Quick Update on a hot Sunday afternoon here in Buffalo.
The arbitration decision came down for Leafs goalie Ilya Samsonov on Sunday, and as predicted by yours truly (let me have one moment of glory on this one), the amount on the one-year deal was $3.55 million.
This will make Samsonov an unrestricted free agent after next season and also opens a 72-hour window in which the Leafs can exercise a buyout.
