First, the Conor Garland update…
The Blue Jackets decision to put Laine on IR has led to speculation that Garland could be moving to Columbus…I looked into it, and at least for now…that does not appear to be the case…The Predators however, have shown interest in Garland…The issue is the Canucks want to gain cap space in the deal……
Alex Lyon….
I am hearing quite alot regarding the Lightning and Red Wings discussing a possible trade for Alex Lyon.. I am seriously suspicious that anyone in division would do anything to help out Tampa, and yet the rumors appear to be quite strong. One source believes Lyon could get moved as early as tomorrow…
On Ovechkin….
No goals, and averaging half the shots on goals AO usually gets….Is Ovechkin finally feeling the results of playing at such a high level? I wouldn’t place that bet…get a feeling he has a breakout night tonight for some reason….
