As you may remember, after the Penguins lost in the first round to the NY Islanders I wrote how I was immediately hearing the Penguins were strongly deliberating about the future of Geno in Pittsburgh. Malkin has been a good soldier, but certainly wants to be the ace of the staff somewhere, and Crosby will always be above him on the depth chart...
Well now comes the first serious team who is looking into this.v
The Vancouver Canucks have had internal discussions and also have let it be known that they would like to take a shot at bringing Malkin to British Columbia...
No names out there yet....but I will be keeping close tabs..stay tuned for my blog this afternoon regarding Trades and the Draft...
