Hockey Is BACK TODAY!
Now for an interesting story that is developing..
As you all know, the first overall pick in this upcoming Draft will belong to one of 16 teams who is playing in the play-in tournament...According to some sources, that is inspiring some REALLY unique conversations right now. Teams willing to gamble are talking to some teams who are in the final 16 about their pick...which is a gamble, because that pick COULD be the first overall if they lose in the first round and then proceed to win the lottery...That pick could also just be a good first-round pick...
But the possibility that it COULD be Lafreniere makes it more valuable and risky to move than ever before...Of course, the pick could be protected from the number 1 pick, but the value goes up WAY higher if you don't protect it.
I am told a few teams are actually considering it...Would you?
