Rosen to be recalled Monday, will Toronto play 11 - 7?; Leafs vs. Ottawa (maple leafs)

For the latest Leafs updates or on Twitter The Toronto Maple Leafs have begun to put things in motion in preparation for their playoff matchup with the Boston Bruins in less than two weeks. The Leafs play the Ottawa Senators at the Canadian Tire Center in Kanata, ON on Saturday and for the first time this season, goalie Frederik Andersen is sitting a game that is not back-to-back and that he is healthy. Garret Sparks will go in goal for Toronto, who begin a stretch of three games in four nights. Andersen is expected to go in an April Fool’s contest against the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum, and Sparks will get the start in the second of back-to-back games at home against Carolina on Tuesday. The Leafs will not make any lineup changes up front, but Travis Dermott will make his return to the lineup after missing just over a month with a shoulder injury. Dermott will partner with Martin Marincin on the bottom pairing, but that combo may be short-lived with the impending recall of Calle Rosen. Head coach Mike Babcock indicated on Saturday that Rosen would meet the Leafs in New York in advance of their rematch with the Isles.
