Well, things happen in a hurry. Detroit managed to move the contract of Ville Husso for future considerations to the Ducks. At the same time Trevor Zegras has been suspended for a hit to the head on Rasmussen. The interesting portion is now, did Yzerman clear space to make a move?
Puck Pedia now shows Detroit with about 11m in cap space with 13 at the deadline. Anaheim needed a goalie with Gibson’s injury, so it may have just been a matter of convenience. Never say never, but let me know your thoughts in the comments.
