Follow @james_tanner123 Antti Raanta is back from injury and the Coyotes look like a whole new team.
Sure, they're stuck on two wins, so it might sound a bit crazy to say this, but things are looking good.
The Coyotes record is now a hilarious 2-13-3 or, basically 2-16. Yowza! What is worse, is that both their victories were in overtime, so they have played 18 straight games without a regulation win, which is absolutely crazy.
They have an NHL worst -27 goal differential. And that's the worst by a lot. But like I said, things are looking up.
They have points in three of four, and four of six. Good times.
Last night they took on a Blues team that has been on fire. The Blues have won eight of ten, and so even though we're probably way past moral victories here, to go to a shoutout against them was, in itself, a victory. A pretty hollow one, but a victory nevertheless.
The main takeaway from the loss was the play of Antti Raanta. Raanta made 36 saves, and played his best game as a Coyote. The Blues controlled over 55% of the play and the Coyotes were lucky to be in this one, truthfully. That said, it was one of their better games of the season, so take that however you will.

It really makes no sense to trade OEL - he's a franchise player and the opportunity to build around Keller, Strome, Domie, OEL, Chychrun and Raanta is something special. No point in re-rebuiliding.
