Sources are telling me very clearly now that the LA Kings are being the most aggressive team right now when it comes to dealing for the young star defenseman. But even they feel they are far away from an asking price that has many others questioning just how serious Armstrong is to actually move him. One GM told me he feels the "Pseudo availability of Chychrun feels more like Armstrong's running excuse to get you on the phone and discuss others."
On Kadri....
This is more a long-term rumor, but there is a growing belief that Kadri's "MVP-worthy season" could be playing him out of Colorado as he will for sure be the biggest ticket UFA this July. Who would be able to afford him and would be able to bring him in? I am told the Bruins are avoiding trading for any contracts that stretch past this season with intentions of going big for Kadri.

On Marc Andre Fleury..
There has been a lot of talk recently that Colorado may be looking elsewhere and while they may be happy with the way Kuemper has played as of late they are still looking to a moire proven playoff goalie in Fleury. Minnesota and Edmonton are in the same boat.
But everyone feels Fleury is playoff money....
On Forsberg in Nashville...
I was flat out told today that the chances of Forsberg being moved in season are less than 5%. The Preds simply can't move him out and perhaps miss the playoffs. Playoff money is vital toward the franchise. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a Forsberg extension sooner than later. but even if he goes into the summer I believe the Preds will find a way to keep him and he wants to remain in Nashville...
