Quick Hits: June 18, 2023
1) I have begun writing a series of 15 NHL Draft prospect profile articles for PhiladelphiaFlyers.com. So far, articles looking at David Reinbacher, Dalibor Dvorsky, Ryan Leonard and Zach Benson are finished (links are the embedded Tweet below). The next two will look at Gabe Perrault and Tom Willander.
Additionally, Brian Smith has written a combination article on projected first-overall and second-overall picks Connor Bedard and Adam Fantilli. He's also done one on the Draft's biggest wildcard, Matvei Michkov, and has another combination article planned on Leo Carlsson and Tom Willander.

3) Today in Flyers History: On June 18, 2007, the Flyers acquired the negotiating rights to impending free agents Kimmo Timonen and Scott Hartnell from the Nashville Predators and signed both to six-year contracts. In return, the Flyers flipped back to the Predators the 2007 first-round pick they acquired from Nashville in the Peter Forsberg rental trade just before the 2006-07 trade deadline.
