Quick Hits: Dev Camp Wrapup (Flyers)

1) Development Camp wrapped up on Thursday with a 5-4 (2-1) scrimmage victory via shootout by "Team Lindros" over "Team Clarke". The first half was played at 5-on-5, with the second half starting at 4-on-4 and then becoming a 3-on-3.

Alex Bump scored twice for Team Lindros, and then tallied again during the shootout. Owen McLaughlin tallied a goal for Team Clarke in the final minute of the first half and also scored in the shootout. Alexis Gendron (Team Clarke), Jacob Gaucher (Team Clarke). For Team Lindros. J.R. Avon (penalty shot goal) and Sam Sedley scored second-half goals to pace a comeback from a 3-1 deficit to a 3-3 tie. Samu Tuomaala scored the shootout winner for Team Lindros.

Flyers 2023 second-round pick Carson Bjarnason and camp invite Pete Sterling shared the goaltending duties for Team Lindros. Camp invites Cameron Korpi and Noah Giesbrecht were goal for the Team Clarke side.

On a shift-in and shift-out basis, Bobby Brink (Team Lindros) was the most dominating offensive player. He was in the middle of no fewer than a half dozen scoring chances. Other standouts included Emil Andrae, Bump (an incoming University of Vermont freshman draft by the Flyers in the 5th round last year), 2023 first-round pick Oliver Bonk, Chester County native McLaughlin (a seventh-round Flyers draftee in 2021 now entering his sophomore season at the University of North Dakota), Northeastern University sophomore defenseman Hunter McDonald (drafted last year by the Flyers at age 20 in the 6th round).

3) Elliot Desnoyers had a scare on Wednesday from a hit delivered by Andrae. Desnoyers had to be helped off the ice, putting no pressure on one foot. Fortunately, he soon felt better. Desnoyers played in Thursday's scrimmage on the Team Lindros side.
