The newly-formed second line is intriguing. Perhaps Mathew Barzal can get help Jordan Eberle find the back of the net.
Josh Bailey, who has been the Islanders best forward this season, returns to the first line.
Defensively, Ryan Pulock joins the top 6. Pulock has played in just two games this season and has recorded one assist. He last played one week ago against the Sharks, logging 12 shifts for 9:23 of ice time.
Why Dennis Seidenberg returns to the lineup is anyone's guess. Just goes to show you how badly Thomas Hickey and Scott Mayfield played Thursday in Minnesota.
