*still watching playback as I work on “snake situation…, waiting for either a priest or animal removal. Not completely sure. So, my breakdown is incomplete but you can watch the game.
List of Players for Development Training Camp
Next 8 minute game was Team Bain and Team Osaer. At about 1:46 Dylan James (Team Bain) went end to end and got his team on the board with a nice wrist shot. Just before the 4 minute switch Lombardi had a nice drive to the net at the half wall. Didn’t score but looks stronger on his skates. At 6:19 Shai Buium scored on a short drive to the net as Team Osaer had a nice passing sequence holding team Bain at bay until the final move. 1-1. Game went to a shootout:
Team Osaer - Danielson - scored with a nice wrister. Right shot coming in off the left side.
Team Bain - Pelikka - stopped by Cossa Team Bain - Buium - stopped by Cossa, SC looks good
Osaer wins 2-1 SO
Game 3 is Osaer vs. Rihela. At 2:03 Israel Miansicum scored on a nice drive to the net (free agent invitee). 1-0 Rihela. Hails from Quebec, 6’2… w/c left shot. At 3:05 Brennan Ali tied things up, 2022 7th round pick played at Notre Dame last year. Ripped a nice shot low, picked at 212. 1-1.
Cooper Moore gave Rihela the lead at 7:33. 5th rounder from 2019 6’2… left shot Dman, One Wings pick before Soderblom. 2-1 was the final, though a bizarre icing call that seemed off the mark took away an empty net goal by the young Draper.
Game 4 Lashoff vs. Bain
One minute in after a save for team Bain a long high pass found Redmond Savage all alone and he cashed in after an initial miss on the tap in. 1-0 Lashoff. (Though the scoreboard says 1-0 Bain). At 3:35 Savage scored again. Energy and pace have definitely picked up. Just a nice wrister on the strong side (lefty) 2-0 Lashoff (but again, scoreboard says Bain). Those 2 were enough as no one broke through after the 4 minute goalie swap. Lashoff 2-0, Savage with both tallies and looked strong.
Game 5 Lashoff vs. Osaer
At 3:34 Ali and Buium had a 2 on 0 after some good work by Kasper and crew in Osaer’s zone ended up in a turnover. Ali buried the back and forth. 1-0 Osaer. With under a minute left team Lashoff pulled the goalie and Lombardi took advantage of the empty net with 40 seconds left. 2-0 Osaer. Carson Dorwart added another empty netter with 14 ticks left to put Osaer up 3-0, which is ironically their tournament score as well with team Lashoff at 2-1.
Game 6 Bain vs. Rihela
Lots of good goaltending in the first 4 minutes (Augustine was really good). With 1:37 Nate Danielson drove the net receiving a pass from near Gretzky’s office and tapped in for a 1-0 lead for Team Bain. Rihela pulled the goalie and with 30 seconds left Alexandre Doucet (invitee) tied it up. 1-1. On to the shootout.

Semi finals GM 1 - Team Bain vs Team Rihela
At 1:34 Dylan James scores for team Bain, shooting a wrister off the rush. 1-0 Bain. With 40 seconds left, James cashes in on an empty net as Rihela pulled the goalie for the extra man. 2-0 Bain. With about 25 seconds left and another empty net, Gibson scored. 3-0 Bain. They’re on to the finals, and the crew are mentioning James as possible tournament MVP.
Semi finals GM 2 - Team Lashoff vs. Team Osaer
At 1:35 in, after Buium had an impressive move to the net, the puck looked like it was headed out of the zone. Lombardi kept it in and drove in the opening tally. 1-0 for Osaer and Lombardi is getting some positive feedback. Buium looks like he’s starting to put things together as well. At 3:38 Finne shot 5 hole off the rush and the puck bounced/trickled in. 2-0 Osaer. Augustine has just shut the door on Team Lashoff. Some impressive stuff. Grabs the shutout, Osaer wins 2-0, an unbeaten 4-0 in the tournament and heads to meet Bain in the finals.
Finals - Team Osaer vs. Team Bain
Just 26 seconds in Larry Keenan (4th round 2023) opened up the scoring with a ripper from between the circles. 1-0 Bain. With about 2 minutes left Brennan Ali and Liam McKlinski had a 2 on 0 and cashed in as Ali made a nice cross crease feed to McKlinkski for a tap in. 1-1. Regulation ended in the 1-1 tie, game then went to OT. With just about 22 second left Ali and McKlinski had a near carbon copy connection to with the game for Osaer.
