For the latest Leafs updates or Follow @mikeinbuffalo on Twitter Most of the Toronto Maple Leafs began skating at the Ford Performance Centre in Etobicoke, ON this week, as the National Hockey League moved to Phase 2 of the Return to Play Plan and set a date of July 10 for the opening of training camp. The Leafs have as many as 20 players in the Toronto area informally practicing in groups, which gives them an advantage over a number of clubs since they can put together groups that might play as lines or tandem when the play-in round begins in late July-early August.
