Looking to snap their three-game losing streak, the Carolina Hurricanes will be in Ottawa to face the Senators. Here’s the pre-game report.
According to Callum Fraser, here are the projected lineups:
CAROLINA
Andrei Svechnikov - Sebastian Aho - Warren Foegele Nino Niederreiter - Jordan Staal - Teuvo Teravainen Ryan Dzingel - Lucas Wallmark - Martin Necas Brock McGinn - Eetu Luostarinen - Brian Gibbons
Jaccob Slavin - Dougie Hamilton Jake Gardiner - Brett Pesce Joel Edmundson - Trevor van Riemsdyk
James Reimer Petr Mrazek
OTTAWA
Brady Tkachuk - Chris Tierney - Anthony Duclair Vladislav Namestnikov - Colin White - Tyler Ennis Nick Paul - Jean-Gabriel Pageau - Connor Brown Filip Chlapik - J.C. Beaudin - Jonathan Davidsson
Thomas Chabot - Nikita Zaitsev Erik Brannstrom - Ron Hainsey Mark Borowiecki - Dylan DeMelo
Anders Nilsson Craig Anderson
The Senators enter tonight having won just one of seven road games this year. The youth movement in Ottawa continues to take shape, as Mikkel Boedker and Bobby Ryan will be scratches. Anders Nilsson is expected to start in net.
Eetu Luostarinen will be in again as the 12th forward meaning Haydn Fleury will be a scratch, while Lucas Wallmark will stay up on the third line with Erik Haula injured. James Reimer will be starting and will look to rebound from his last game, in which he allowed four goals on 25 shots.
I’m just saying, if you’re looking to snap a losing skid or break out of a bit of a slump, you’ve got a pretty good opportunity facing Ottawa.
