The Ducks continue to be one of the deepest and most sound teams in the NHL. Getzlaf and Perry are still spectacular and now they have help. Rackell, Silfverberg, Eaves, and Ritchie are just a part of a great supporting cast…Defensively Cam Fowler took a huge step last year. Add to that one of the best goaltending tandems in John Gibson and Ryan Miller and this team has few limits.
Potential Surprises…. * Ryan Miller won’t be OK as a backup. He still has plenty of game left. * Nick Ritchie will have a monster year as the third part of the Getzlaf and Perry Line,
In the rumor mill…
The Ducks have Cogliano and Vermette as pending UFA’s next summer…with all their depth I could see the Ducks swapping out one of them to add some experience on D.
