A few snippets of information today. Some clips of practice. Traverse City canceled due to Corona. A possible extension to the CBA is still progressing along and the draft lottery video to hopefully remove some of the conspiracy theories.
The Rangers have been sending out mini clips from practice daily. A few more posted today should help create a little buzz. Plus, as jimbo noted, we saw one from Sweden that was sent out showing Mika and Lindblom practicing.
We wouldn't be here without them.

The Red Wings announced today that they are canceling the Traverse City tournament scheduled for September. Given the current situation and the season not slated to end until early-October, this is not a big surprise. But it means that players like Vitali Kravtsov and K'Andre Miller won't get a chance to show the work they might have put in over the summer and enter training camp with a shot to impress.
The #RedWings today announced changes to their annual events held in Traverse City, Mich., including the relocation of the team's 2020-21 Training Camp to Little Caesars Arena.

A vote on the CBA could occur within a week. But as Bob McKenzie notes, the amount of information to churn through and present is rather voluminous. Plus, Phases 3 and 4 likely are the priority, at least in the short-term. But can you vote on the return-to-play without the CBA and what;'s the timing for the vote?
As has been widely reported, current salary cap of $81.5M likely to remain “flat… for each of next two seasons (20-21 and 21-22). Marginal bumps up possible for each of ensuing 3 or 4 seasons depending on revenues, but it could be awhile before real “linkage… returns.

For all those who have 15 minutes to spare or just are really interesting, here is the draft lottery video. If you think this was fixed, please let me know how that was done? Were balls 9-10-2-11 weighted slightly more than the others or treated with a chemical to make them come to the top first (yes, this is supposed how the overall lottery could have been frauded in the past)? Was the NHL. looking to stretch out the proceedings so that we wouldn't know who was getting Alexis Lafrienere and all the press conferences that might have been held with the winning team obviated?
And here's the video of the 2020 draw:https://t.co/dDMGajm24d
